Short version: AVD Clinical uses only strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data to third parties.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They help websites remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you don't have to re-enter information on every page.
We also use similar technologies such as browser localStorage and sessionStorage for session management on the client side.
2. Cookies We Use
AVD Clinical uses a minimal set of cookies, all of which are strictly necessary for the Service to function:

3. Cookies We Do Not Use
We do not use:
- Advertising or tracking cookies — we do not display ads or track you across other websites.
- Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) — we do not currently run third-party analytics on the Library.
- Social media cookies — we do not embed social media tracking pixels.
- Profiling cookies — we do not build behavioral profiles of users for commercial purposes.
4. Google Fonts
AVD Clinical loads fonts (Plus Jakarta Sans, Inter) from Google Fonts. Google may log your IP address when serving these fonts. This is a standard practice for CDN-hosted fonts. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. We are evaluating self-hosting fonts to eliminate this third-party request.
5. Your Cookie Choices
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, the Service cannot function properly without them. However, you can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings:
Note: Deleting or blocking the authentication cookie will sign you out of the Library. You will need to sign in again using an email OTP.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers allow you to signal that you do not want to be tracked across websites (DNT signal). Because we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, your DNT setting has no practical effect on your experience with AVD Clinical. We honor the spirit of DNT by default.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
